An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.
The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.
Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.
The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
