The artist has donated the entirety of his £25k Mercury Prize winnings to the trust for venues, which works to save the United Kingdom's small live music spots.
He was awarded the cheque on October 16 as his new release People Watching was chosen as the outstanding release of the previous year.
Fender has chosen to give the cash to the trust, in acknowledgment of the crucial part small stages played in his early career.
"As an artist couldn't be pursuing what I am doing today if it hadn't been for all the performances I did around the area, and further afield, when I was starting out," said Fender. "These venues are renowned, but they are facing challenges."
From early 2023 onward, over 150 of these locations have permanently closed – approximately one-sixth of the total UK scene.
Recently, top acts such as Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Sheeran have all aided the trust in its attempts to keep the scene afloat, by applying a small levy to their admission fees, which goes to help smaller concert halls.
Sam Fender also joined in, collecting over £100k on his 2024 arena tour to help thirty-eight small stages across Britain.
The donation supported locations that were dealing with possible closure due to difficulties stemming from water damage, blazes and bereavements, as well as permit problems, conflicts and sound issues.
Additional spaces were granted monetary aid in modernizing facilities and gear that directly benefitted musicians and audiences.
"The concept that funds from concerts in big venues supports the local stages, where it begins for performers like me, is just logical," Sam Fender has commented.

"Winning was quite enough," said artist the singer. "The cash was the bonus but we didn't need the cherry, because we had the cake. So our victory impacted the lives of others."
In the past week, the MVT announced it had protected several grassroots venues in the South East, by bringing them into public stewardship.
One venue in Southampton and The Croft in the city were acquired under the public acquisition program, which is funded by the arts council and supporters who acquire "stakes" in the buildings.
